NOVEMBER 2006 ANNUAL MEETING

Our Chapter’s Annual Meeting was held on November 10, 2006, at Michael's On East in Sarasota, Florida.

Dolly Haerr, our Interim President,  presided over the meeting. She welcomed all the members and thanked everybody for coming.

Dolly thanked Elaine Chapman for her 3 years as a great President of the Chapter and presented her with a gift.

The new Board was installed by our Secretary, Mary Ann Mazzarella. It is a good slate, and we are certain the Board will lead the Chapter well, with our five Neighborhood Groups and great education programs for our members. The treasurer gave a short version of our financial status. We are on solid ground.

 The Chairmen of the various committees also gave a short report.

Dolly presented the member of the year award to Eva Winter.

Our program was presented by Toni Carroll. She had a wonderful trunk show of her one of a kind clothes collection. She explained  many of her techniques which were exquisite.

A lovely lunch was served by Michael’s On East.

Cobb Salad and a to-die for Chocolate cake dessert.

On display was a hand dyed 100% silk shawl and matching purse made and donated by Evelyn LeVasseur. Tickets are available to win these items from your Neighborhood Group Leaders. 1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. The drawing will be in March 2007 at our English Tea.

Annual Meeting 

Hello Ladies,

Hope everyone enjoyed the Annual Meeting as much as I did. It was a wonderful present we received from the board having Toni Carroll as our guest speaker wasn't it? And who doesn’t love receiving gifts? The videos were a very thoughtful touch. 

Toni's trunk show was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She made me want to go home and try all the techniques she showed us. I have to admit though I picked up my Bedazzler and have yet to put it down, and for this I blame Toni. And Michaels as always did a fantastic job taking care of all our needs. So I just wanted to say thank you to Evelyn and Dolly for arranging such a memorable Annual Meeting and also thank you to all who helped to make it possible.
