Stephanie Kimura was our guest speaker for the day. She is a wearables and decorative pattern artist

who promotes creative sewing through teaching and lecturing.

Stephanie has authored the following books: “ Bags with Style”,

“Art to Wear with Asian Flair” and “ Altered Style”. We were all inspired with her ideas and patterns, and left

very entertained. Stephanie graciously donated a new

purse pattern for our challenge

Due to copyright issues, the “Sarasota Handbag” pattern must

stay within our membership and is open to our chapter

members only. Purses were judged in two categories:

Most Useful and Most Glamorous.
