Where have the last four years gone?! This will be my last letter to you as your Chapter President. I have really enjoyed working with all of you. I want to thank you for all the work and input from my CAB, and thank all of you members who have helped where ever you could. You made it very enjoyable and satisfying to be your President. We have some very nice events coming up. Our Annual Meeting will be on October 31^st. The Special Events Chair tells me that there are some nice surprises for that event, so come join us for that day!

I hope you are all working on your items for the Bazaar in November. Please support this event. All proceeds go to our Chapter’s Education Fund.

Of course, in December, each neighborhood group will be having their Holiday Parties, which are always fun! Try to attend the one that your group is having.

January, 2010 will be busy with our New CAB taking over. We wish them all the best for the new term, and I know you will all give them your support in the coming year.

We will be having Shirley Adams in January. This will be Shirley’s last year for her lecture and teaching tour. We all have enjoyed her on her TV Series, “The Sewing Connection”. Also, if we were lucky enough to attend her lecture and teaching tours in the past, I’m sure she will surprise us with many new things. We will be going to the Original Sewing and Quilt Expo at the Tampa Convention Center n February. Marie is getting a one day (Thursday, February 18^th) Bus Trip together for this event. Hope to see you there!

We will also be having our Spring Fling on March 27^th, so get ready for more fun! Wonder who will take home the mink Teddy…. On April 28 through May 2, we will be having our Second Spring Retreat in Sebring, FL.

I am sure that I will be at these events enjoying them with you! Thank you all for a wonderful four years! It was a fun trip!
