FROM MY SEWING ROOM TO YOURS
November/December 2011
Fall is my favorite time of year. The air is cool and crisp and it is a delight to be outside again! It also turns my sewing in another direction. I think of what additions I may need to add to my wardrobe as well as the many articles I have on my holiday sewing list!
Many of you were very busy with National Sewing Month activities through our neighborhood groups. Thanks for the beautiful displays and hours put into these. It is another way of sharing the love of sewing with our communities. We make new friends this way as well as bring in new members!
National headquarters has been busy updating the website. Check it out for great information. You have access to other Chapter Newsletters, ASG Notions Magazine online, Special Offers, Videos & Webinars.
Sabrina has also started a Blog. Read it and leave a comment if you wish. ASG Online will be starting up again soon with more on-line sewing classes! You can also access the past classes.
There is even a place to change your address or email.
I look forward to seeing everyone at our Annual Meeting on November 12. Our guest speaker will be Pam Crosby. Pam is a past member of our chapter and will be presenting “Effective Packaging: A Look at Body, Style, and Wardrobe”. It will be great to have Pam back for a visit!
Until then……..
Happy Sewing & Creating,
Kathleen
